Hello together

Has anybody flashed Tasmota on the Qualitel Wifi switch yet? I bought one and it looks quite similar to the Sonoff Basic R1, but I could not find the right PINs. I see the GND and 3V, but which ones to connect to RX & TX?

Best regards

Does it even have a ESP chip on? Its probaby a tuya only chip by now.

There is a very long thread about this: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/sa-smart-plugs-that-can-be-flashed-with-tasmota.1075323/

You have 2 options:

1. Desolder the tuya chip and solder on a flashed ESP chip. ESP-02s is my guess.
I did this here: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/thr...ed-with-tasmota.1075323/page-28#post-30039425

2. Look at another project that puts ESPHOME on the Tuya chip. Very different.
For this, you will have to look into https://github.com/kuba2k2/libretuya-esphome

Wow, impressive... on another level than what I did till now with the Sonoffs. It might be a Tuya, that is why I am lost.
Well, soldering will be a challenge. I just started to learn about ESPhome, that will be the better choice. The main motivation for a Qualitel was the cheaper price, but with a bit of luck the Sonoff Basics are almost the same.

Thank you very much for that helpful information!
