Team speak is free. Its a small program you install and connect to a server. Once connected you have channels that you can sit in etc. You can have private channels with passwords or public channels.
get it from http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads and click TeamSpeak 2 Client (RC2). Once downloaded and installed click on connection at the top and connect. Here you can click server list to see a list or you can add another server and put a team speak server ip in and connect.
Almost like public chat but you dont have to type anything, you just speak.
There is a local South African server, ip is: 196.2.128.100 and if you want to know how to set up etc i wrote up how to connect to the server and add a server name etc and how to connect and register on the server look here: http://www.teamspeak.co.za/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=242#242 I am one of the server admins on that server so plz give me a shout if you need help. preferbly register on the site and pm me on the site. or im in mirc in #loc on shadowfire.
