Technology skills a problem

I was never too sure about there being a huge gap between university and the work place. I went from uni to a job and i was churning out code as good as anyone on my first day. I was told that it was because only about 25% of bursary funds are available for white males. Is this not descrimination? I am discriminated against because of the colour of my skin. Trouble is, everyone admits to it, but nothing is done.

just look at who is in charge, should be easy to see why then

First problem to fix, is what it cost to study. Who can afford to fork out up to R30 000.

All education should be free. If you pass, you don't pay. If you fail you pay.

UNISA ain't too bad. Around R8000 for a full ten modules in a BSC degree (one year). And you can work full time while studying.
I paid my first year tuition (in 1992) by working a stall on a flea market.
