I applied for my ADSL last week Wednesday. When speaking to the call center person she said their systems are a bit slow and she will SMS me the reference number. By Friday afternoon I have not received the ref number, so I phoned them again. This was their exact response to me "Oh, I am actually a bit surprised your request has been processed and is with the technical department they should phone shortly to arrange a date and time for installation".
Thinking yeah this is Telkom, it would still take some time to complete. Monday morning they phoned again to say they would be installing on Wednesday (tomorrow) so let's wait and see if that is really the case
In total 7 days or 5 working days so far not too bad.
