Telkom ADSL Land lines.

Seeing that Telkom or rather Post Net,?? has ceased their Postal Services, my concern is what will eventually be the Future of the Land Lines/ADSL Lines for the Users. Hopefully Privatization or part Privatization will be the Future for Telkom. If they closed down completely, the Internet is going to take a serious bashing.
Any thoughts on this future problems.?

Telkom and Postnet are two different companies as far as I know. If Postnet goes under it wouldn't affect Telkom. You might not receive your bill though.

or fiber like eg 123net,will get fibre based wifi towers so it can get ppl connected with out needing to laycables

and wile they get money that way,they can do the rollout faster

if distance is a problem they can do AP with towers and so
