Telkom ADSL Speed

Telkom advertise the "Do Basic" package speed as 384kbps. Speed tests regularly show I only get .31mbps; 10% of Telkom’s promise. I have had Telkom test the line etc but they claim congestion. Surely this is not accpetable.

Post a speed test here as well as your line attenuation stats...

:erm: 0.310mbs = 310kbs or 81% of your theoretical max speed.

they normally say "UP TO" and you are close.

That speed is the best you're gonna get, mine always goes just to 0.32mbps.
