Telkom APN issues

Good day all,

Anyone aware of Telkom having issues with their "internet" APN today?

Our ISP is saying its load shedding(Yes I am referring to you axxess support reading from a script)but 5 different customers in 5 different locations....

We managed to fix some of them by changing the apn to unrestricted and that solved the issue for now.
But customers we are not able to get to remotely we will need to drive out to them.
 
Mine tanked last night at 8pm. Switched to unrestricted (which is what I am usually on due to internet apn being flaky) and forgot about it. Switched back to internet now and still looks broken. 1mbps down, 20mbps up vs 60ish down, 20 up on unrestricted.

We are receiving reports of some users experiencing intermittent to no connectivity on Telkom LTE services in the Gauteng region. Telkom is currently investigating to restore services as soon as possible.

We do apologize for the inconvenience caused during this time.
 
Great Captain Axxesss really nice to know that axxess only found this out a whole day after it was reported. Now please educate your support staff on chat how to better communicate when I kept explaining to her that was the issue and she kept pointing out that its load shedding.
 
APN issues on both "internet" & "unrestricted". This is slightly annoying.
