I've been a Telkom mobile subscriber for years now. I upgraded recently. This is the first rolled-over month. I didn't receive my new data and voice allocation. *188# confirms that my balance is what it was at the end of last month.
I phone the call center, the woman tells me what I know already - my balance had not changed yet she argues that I got my new allocation. And here's the kicker...
She tells me that because I'm on a bundle, my data and minutes come from their roaming partner MTN so I have to manually select MTN as the carrier on my phone and restart it to get my new allocation *wtf*
Of course i'm willing to try everything once despite my logic saying don't be stupid... so I restart and nothing has changed. Honestly - are these call center agents even trained?
