Telkom continues to lose fixed-line subscribers

The cut me and my neighbours off and gave us radio devices that did not work. TOTALLY SELF INFLICTED

Telkom are actively forcing people away from landlines, forcing them to convert to fixed-line look alike devices (basically a crappy phone that uses a SIM and relies on cell network). So it goes down during power outages which the fixed line didn't do. This is completely their own doing.

Headline should be "Telkom forces customers away from using fixed-lines".
 
In other news, Mr. Video continues to lose customers.

Also, water continues to be wet, except when it's wine, then it's dry.
 
Telkom is schizophrenic. Just when they became competitive and also launched naked dsl they discontinued the service in areas that already had fibre from other providers. That when people were complaining about anti-competitiveness from fibre providers.
 
Finally was able to get rid of mine once we got Fibre and was able to ditch my ADSL, not giving money to Telkom every month is glorious.
 
Telkom further reported a significant decline in fixed broadband subscribers – down from 686,525 in March 2020 to 605,807 in March 2021.

Telkom said that it doesn't want to maintain copper lines and the decline in copper-based fixed line numbers is exactly what Telkom wants, the only surprise is that the decline was relatively small compared to previous years.

Why is Telkom crying about this? They are the ones who removed copper lines from where I live!!!!
 
I'm suprised that more than a million people are still OK with Telkom's pathetic service though.
After moving house and struggling with cancelling my Telkom ADSL because I got fibre i have done nothing but warn people to stay away from them and will continue to advocate for this.
