Telkom demonstrates 200 Mbps Mobile LTE

Shame..... now go do some work and fix the OOB shark
Poor response, rather discuss what the TM demo meant for the industry and consumers. Do you even know this was actual pre-LTE-A stuff? And a clear demonstration how important spectrum is? Or that LTE is a viable DSL-replacement?

Oh, wait.....that'll require actual knowledge on the subject. Much easier to make glib statements and then refuse to substantiate them.

maybe spend some more time on your work than trolling here. oohhh but i forgot you are the only one that can read. or the only one that knows everything. now go work and fix your OOB shark

we don't need 200 Mbps, we need a stable speeds of around 20 Mbps and we'll be happy

How else do you think you will be able to get a solid 20Mbps? If the radio on the tower can do 200Mbps it has to be divided between all the users accessing data at any given point in time, so the more bandwidth the radio on the tower has, the more likely you are going to see consistently decent speeds. Same principle as your home wifi.

Any ideas, on where we can get one of those 2300Mhz modems? Does it have to be single mode or multiple mode?
@ Jannie,
Will all Telkoms deployment sites be configured to use the full spectrum of 3 x 20MHz carriers (60MHz)?
What do you think would be the worst case scenario on the download?

thanks
