I hope they shut down. They honestly deserve to go under. They are pathetic. I've been trying to port my number from post paid to prepaid for the past 2 months. They are full of crap. Previously it took me 3 years to cancel my ADSL.

Do you mean Durban?Make me CEO. Day 1, I would nuke every call centre telkom has. Farm it all out to India. 75% of your problems solved right there. You can thank me later shareholders.
A move that is back firing spectacularly.Something does not make sense. It's Telkom themselves who are disconnecting people's fixed lines and ADSL...
You need to chat with the ISP, but I think pretty much all fiber ISP support this on FTTB products. Our business has a static IP address on an ADSL line. When the Telkom rep calls they don't even know what a static IP address is and just put down the phone. Can someone advise where to get a static IP address when switching to Fiber. (i.e. non Telkom Fiber)
Because up until this blunder he was doing well.So why is the CEO still there ?
Eish..Our ISP is also TelkomYou need to chat with the ISP, but I think pretty much all fiber ISP support this on FTTB products.
Cancelled my internet with helkom and signed up with mweb where my speed is actually faster even though it is still on helkoms phone line. Once they rip out those lines there is no chance I will sign up for another helkom product.Telkom finds itself in deep trouble
Telkom is in deep trouble. Its fixed-line customers are leaving in droves, it has a serious reputation problem, and its debt burden has increased to worrying levels.
In its latest trading statement, Telkom warned that its earnings per share are expected to decrease by 30% to 40% compared to last year.
No, we need competition in the telecoms market.another SOE must fall![]()
I thought I had, but today I discovered debit-orders that they were slipping through.Glad I managed to cancel my ADSL and landline successfully this year.
They want to move everything to mobile and fibre.Something does not make sense. It's Telkom themselves who are disconnecting people's fixed lines and ADSL...
