Telkom Integrated Data Sim

Hi Everyone,
So i have been on the phone with Telkom for the past few days regarding these sims and they tell me there is no way of topping up Data on them.I have 2 of these sim cards on a 100gb ADSL package and only getting 2gigs of data every month is just useless as my adsl is non existent even though i have a 10mb line. I really thought Telkom had something good going on here and i was even willing to pay extra just to top up the data on the Sim cards but i guess the only option is to cancel the contract as I'm not going to pay and sit with something i can barely use.

So after many many calls with Telkom, they finally enabled my IDS yesterday, now it's working like it used to in both Sims...something I have noticed is that there seems to be no Free Midnight Data anymore..though I have logged a call with Telkom for an official answer..

Ohh I forgot to mention it costs me an extra R269 per month for the use of 100gb of data on IDS

What did Telkom do to fix it? I have a similar issue. I am now browsing a reduced speeds even though I have softcap data bundle left.
I have used 10gb of my cap and now I have the reduced speeds. I have been struggling with Telkom for more that week to have it fixed. I do not mind paying the extra money but not @ R65 for 1gb.

Did you have to enable the IDS somewhere? As I've used the 1gb and I've resorted back to using my phones data

That's what I have been doing. Dealing with a tier 2 person now.
Hope they can have mine sorted soon.

Yes I know it's a mission to get through. I have established that you have to call early morning, otherwise you wait long.
