Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

First time in a long time, something wonky here. Am sure you guys are on it. Am officially on Ponder's list of users having issues in the KZN region [even if temp] :D.

Couldn't use the internet at all last night, and still so this morning. Called in, got a port reset, but still no go.
 
Same here. Internet disconnected after 9. Called in, got a port reset and it was working again. Got up this morning and the internet was off again, and looks like it was off for most of the night.
 
Teamviewer'd onto my pc (eventually) at home and this is an attempt at a local speed test. It doesn't even run. Never got past the ping, which as you can see, is ridiculous.

Lets wait and see what ranger has to say on the matter. Prior to yesterday, the only time frame I had major issues was between 5-10pm. Before and after those times my line ran full speed. Now, it's barely running at all.
 
Still disconnecting/reconnecting. Hope it means TI are working on it. Never had this problem before last night either.
 
Streaming the trial and DSTV [as mentioned by users earlier on some articles] have really improved their streaming :). Working great on Ti so thank heavens it is local :p.
 
tested this morning. Night Surfer is until 7AM as no data used until 7AM counted towards my softcap :D
 
Just remembered who AntiGanda reminds me of, Taranis.
Same troll MO - complains about crap speed, picks at Ranger etc
Add to that Taranis disappeared in July and AntiGanda appears in August - co-incidence, I think not....

Damn clones!
 
Checked at http://userstats.adsl.saix.net/ - 17 sessions yesterday and 44 so far today with all the disconnections..

Also my tracker usage bar jumped to halfway a few days ago (only got to halfway the 27th of last month) - have up until today only used 25 gig outside nightsurfer. Will this still be fixed after the problem we had at the beginning of the month with nightsurfer not being taken into account, or will we be throttled if it's not sorted out early enough this month?

Is the nightsurfer free data issue resolved yet, data still looks skewed on my 10MB uncapped? TI Tracker is usually at 15% after 1 week & 100GB

Seems to have been fixed but not adjusted on TI Tracker, here's my latest after an extra 40GBs since my previous post:

Seems like there is authentication issues. My connection at home dropped just after 10 (RB reporting 10:18). Still hasn't been able to connect.
 
My usage bar on my 10mbs uncapped is the same as yours mickza
Don't go outside of the nightsurfer hours for downloads and there is no throttle risk
I have so far downloaded about 110gig this month on nightsurfer only
There is no need to download in the daytime anyone as this will just make telecom problems worse in the longrun
 
How did your line speed fair during this time? Did you get close to max?

Mine ran fine. I saw this morning that my one torrent was about 50MB from completion so I started it again after 7 and it also ran at max.

Managed about 4GB per night on my 2MB line (need to double check when I get home today how much I downloaded last night). But speeds are always above 150 kilobytes per second on NZBs when I check. So that is good enough for me. Haven't tested torrent speeds yet. First need to clear the 60GB backlog. Will upgrade line to 4MB next month. Cant afford it this month as I am still paying for 1MB axxess business account which is a white elephant POS.
