Well, I spoke to a contact centre agent and he told me that I am the first person to log a call about the matter of online gaming not working as it should. At least, I am the first customer he has dealt with that has this issue.
Anyway, he can't really see any problems and my line looks fine. He informed me that he has marked the call as urgent and will escalate it.
Online gaming is my first priority with my ADSL account and if this crap isn't resolved, then, well, I will have to find an ISP that actually knows what is happening on their own infrastructure.
