Get an Axxess and Afrihost free 1gb account and use those for the time.

Looks like Telkom have lost peering uplink to both DINX and Teraco.

EDIT: looks like things are coming backup, latency high though.

It's getting up to speed now. There's still some latency but very usable.

What's a good router these days? My trusty old Asus DSL12NU is dropping connection every now and then. I have a D-Link 2750U but the Wi-Fi latency sucks.

Can anyone here confirm the FUP on a 10Mbps Unlimited Home package? I've read elsewhere on MyBB that it's 900GB, but the guy at the Telkom shop tells me it's 360GB, which I thought applied only to the 4Mbps deal.

900GB sounds about right. Once you reach half of that, Telkom limits your speed between 7pm and 9pm.

There's multiple stages of FUP anything below 900GB will be bearable.
