Yip, still experiencing this, PPPoE session stays up, DSL Line stays Synced.
But all traffic stalls, then starts passing again.

LTE has the same problem, full signal, no drop on PPP connection, traffic just stalls.

It happens on both DSL and LTE at the exact same time.
 
Not sure wtf is going on. Had about 20 minutes of this just now. It came right again, but there's a crapload of jitter.
 
Some piece of hardward must be faultly on the Telkom Internet side after IPC.
Mweb and Afrihost accounts don't have this problem, which means the ME and DSL network is fine

Same here on Fibre TElkom as isp and in Pretoria area

You're right. On DSL too. Speedtests to local servers are quite crappy, but completely fails when trying American or European servers. Something is definitely broken.

EDIT: and now its suddenly fine again

Anyone in KZN noticing adsl dropping with Telkom? Sometimes several hours a day it's 404.
 
Again, no internet this morning, went off at 5am came back at 7am.
Drops are starting to get longer and longer.
Could not use DSL or LTE.
But Mweb account worked fine on DSL.
