No, we are aware of experience issues for home uncapped accounts which we plan to address on Tuesday night / Wednesday morning for the Cape Town and Durban sites, based on testing following a change in Gauteng on Friday.

Gaming should not be affected as badly. What game?
BF3
If I change to any uncapped free account the performance is 100% better.
I am also seeing a warning on my Telkom usage indicator that I am a power user. Is this reasonable?

TelkomZA (Charl Specifically) sorted my line out within no time, had some crazy issues with my line over the past couple of weeks and Charl sorted it on Friday. Look at my usage when it was sorted (Had a whole lot of catching up to do, incomplete downloads/updates etc) Notice the jump from the 25th to the 26th (Bear in mind, this is Scheduled downloads from 10pm till 7am, and gaming and streaming during the day, and since the fix i've been able to stream 720p all through the day any time of day without any issues!

So TelkomZA/Charl! You sir are a legend!

4Meg line by the way...

I've also been able to Play XBOX (COD Ghosts) online (with no Lag), while my Bro in law was playing DOTA online (No Lag) (all weekend), while my little girl was able to stream My Little Pony (360p-720p depending on the episode) on CartoonHD on XBMC, so.... Keep it up TI.

Had real issues last night on my 4mb uncapped account.

Gaming and news server downloads were fine but http downloads were terrible as well as normal browsing.

Think I need to get TelkomZA to check my line.

My Telkom uncapped account has been working fairly well in the last 2 days.

My TI Uncapped sucked huge, sweaty donkey balls last night. 300MB file and getting told I'll have in approx. 5 hours :wtf: Not sure about the rest of the weekend though. It's really frustrating because we all know it can work VERY well but then also frustrate equally well.

I had to switch to a Vox promo account just to be able to use the interwebs for a couple of hours :erm:

Does Telkom require 1 months notice to cancel the data portion on a TI Uncapped account? Or is just phone and tell them you want to GTFO now?

1 month notice, although some people did manage to convince TI to cancel immediately.

Telkom titracker, down for any one else currently?

Working for me. Do.co.za and telkomsa.net take forever to load though, presumably because they moved sites to Telkom.co.za.

Streaming is pretty much impossible, even though speed tests are great. Probably still due to the problems everyone has been encountering.

So sad that one gets excited when one can do something on the internet "without any issues". Anyway, well done TelkomZA.

No dude, u have it all wrong, ive said it a few times before, in the past 3 years with TI, I can probably count on 1 hand the amount of issues ive ever had to log faults for.

And of those times, TelkomZa has always helped me out, whether its Charl or Gerard or the other guy, they always sort my TI out.

So big ups to those guys at telkomZA, keep it up guys!

Just before 6PM, and I cannot even open a local pdf file <5 mbyte. All webpages time out. Had to refresh mybb several times just so I can post here. I really hope this Cape Town fix happens tonight/tomorrow and makes a difference. Just an hour ago things were working perfectly. :( Every day between 5pm and 11pm this happens, sometimes it is usable albeit at low speeds. Days like today it's impossible to use it at all.

My account works perfectly in Durban but in the Western Cape it struggles!
Twitch.tv doesn't even work right now
