This is my experience as well.
2Mb ran Hulu just fine for months on High setting.
4Mb upgrade and I was smiling even more.
As soon as all the upgrades started kicking in the line began working intermittently.
Before say 7-8pm it runs perfectly fine.
After 8pm streaming on Low via Hulu is only possible with everything else buffering.
3570 kbps International speed test but MTV streaming registers as 750kbps and streams shyte.
It's not exchange congestion as my vox account flies but Afrihost capped crawls like Telkom.
That being said, nzb still flies 100% 24/7.
Downloading at 10kb/s again tonight. FNBconnect at full line speed for same file.
Cancelling my 4mb data portion tomorrow. Can't stream higher than 480p (was able to stream 720p a few months back), torrents are useless, NNTP is useless, HTTP won't download higher than 15kb/s.
I've only used 33gb so far for the month and Telkom usage page indicates I'm still in the green.
My 2mb Connection data package outperforms this account in every way possible.
Thinking of a 4mb Connection account. There has been quite some complaints recently from the Afrihost, MWEB and Open web forums so I'll stay clear from them for now.
Maybe Webafrica but I had some bad experiences from them in the past.
