Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

So TI is all good today?

No-one here moanin'...
Seems good but they've got torrents screwed down hard atm which wasn't the case prior to the weekend upheaval when I could still get 200kB/s during business hours when needed, http downloads seem fine though.

I'll see if I can find a few GBs to torrent during nightsurfer and report back tomorrow.

Do you go via Durban (105.229.0.*) or Cape Town (105.226.0.*)? If Durban, IMHO badly-reasoned changes by operations may have impacted P2P during business hours.

We're most concerned about browsing, youtube etc.

We may look at other ways of improving P2P a bit after everyone has agreed all problems are fixed (which is proving difficult as people are still bringing evidence from Tuesday).

Besides +-20 minutes at midday today, everything has been running smoothly.

Browsing, youtube all fine. I can live with the currently degraded p2p during business hours while your team get the QoS back on track :)

Should torrents be working during the day? If so, at what speeds?

Bear in mind that people don't buy uncapped just to browse.

Is the iOS fiasco now over?

Where are you?

Gaming was better this evening, from around 9pm.

Gaming should not be impacted, as there is policy in place to prioritise all recognised gaming traffic. Please provide details, or even better, log a ticket so we can get some troubleshooting information and try and work around misdetection of the gaming traffic in question.

Well, my problem is being looked at by Charl, which makes me feel really warm and fuzzy :)
Router is the primary suspect currently. Hopefully it's that, otherwise the alternative is dropping down to 3MB to see if it helps.

Overnight downloads were dreadful. Switched to another ISP, all working. Now on zero.
