Not sure whats going on with my TI account, my backup Afrihost account gives the same issue but backup openweb is fine:
Anyone knows why when Im downloading nntp its very eratic up and down 1mb to 0 kb. Speed test, mtr, tracert latency all fine
Which provider are you using?
Telkom do premium 10mb
It looks like there may be a problem with capacity from the IPNet router (105.226.0.5, the other side of the link to hop 3) to the rest of IPNet. If your Afrihost connection uses an IPC link through the same IPNet router, that would explain it. We have requested an explanation from Telkom Wholesale.
Our other router in the region (connected to a different IPNet router) wasn't experiencing any problems.
How should I go about resolving the issue? Should I log a fault with telkom or TI?
