Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

What times do you usually notice any sort of slow downs ?

Around 7pm till around 10pm it seems, been monitoring the local exchange in Durban and think its an issue there (only used about 50gigs sofar, portal says all good). In the past the exchange had its problems. Overall though, doing ok, streaming has been good. Watch it all go to hell now haha. No but so far I've been more happy than usual. Still waiting to see how the FUP will work practically, something that will only be understood as we use it I guess.

Just 2 questions for a newby
:

1. What is the FUP on a 10mb line?
2. Since the first of this month my light turns red to show no internet then i just re start router and it works again...but tis happening more frequently these days about 5-6 tomes a day, what would cause this?

1 - no idea :)
2 - sounds like interference on the line, could be faulty pots filter or something on the actual line

I am on a 10mbps line with a 100GB softcap saw an advert in my monthly bill for 10mbps uncapped for the same price as my currently rate. Called to get more information was told by the call centre agent once you pass 150GB for the month you will be throttled.

Pretty sure ranger said 450GB for FUP1 and 900GB for FUP3 excluding Night Surfer somewhere but I can't find it now, anyway here's my stats and you'll see its barely moved on 50GB:

What did you use all your priority passes on and how long does the priority pass last ?
Haven't used any and doubt I'll need to.

From the info provided thus far it seems you're given 2 passes a month which can be used to disable the prime time throttling - that's only my understanding though.
