Maybe, but didn't you go with month to month?so dumb question, if in the unlikely even of my hood getting a fibre rollout, will they let me switch over to fibre or sit and wait out the 24months?
If it's any provider Telkom provides services on, you would probably be able to migrate (e.g. Vumatel has a 4Mbps option!) or upgrade (extending contract if relevant), e.g. to 10Mbps on Openserve.so dumb question, if in the unlikely even of my hood getting a fibre rollout, will they let me switch over to fibre or sit and wait out the 24months?
Yes, I had to call several times and most of the times the technicians had no idea what I was talking about until one gentleman helped me and understood what I meant.@ranger. I got the 10mb uncapped deal from last month, they updated my line to 10mb, but my account is still 2mb.
Is it normal for it to take longer for the account to swap over to 10mb ?
I originally had a 4Mbps uncapped account. I cancelled the DSL, then requested transfer of telephone line, and downgraded the 4Mbps uncapped account to 10GB.@ranger. I got the 10mb uncapped deal from last month, they updated my line to 10mb, but my account is still 2mb.

Did they give you a new username & password when you signed up for 10MB Uncapped? Mine stayed the same when I moved from 10MB Uncapped to 100GB Softcap.
Sorry, don't know why I thought you'd changed. In that case if it was working I'd guess something got bust with the April IDS mods to the portal.I haven't changed my account. I'm on 4Mb/s
