Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

I must have missed that in your original post.

Oh wait, I didn"t ...
Only my data is with another provider. Why does Telkom not want my business. I canceled last night. The lady from Telkom told me that it must be under wholesale whatever that means.

Wholesale Holding Pool?
that's normally where they put you if the line is being transferred from ownership from telkom to another ISP or Vice versa.
Sort of like in between port if it was a Sim card

I'm on Telkom now, but it's worse then Crystal web. Can't even stream 720p or 1080p.

Sigh.....

Is there 1 faking isp that can actually offer true internet without any throttling or shaping

We're streaming multiple HD sources right now on a line half your speed via Telkom.

What are you trying to stream?

Sky Sports HD, I can't get more then 3mb/s. I switched to Crystal web and no buffering at all

Source does not matter as Crystal web is streaming perfectly

Source does matter if I wanted to test it myself. By your response though I'm guessing it's illicit.

Problem is not on my side, but on Telkom. Send me some website links I can do testing on and see what results from that.

Even the speed tests on Crystal web is higher on the downloads and uploads

The source matters, especially because different ISPs take different routes to your destination. Also consider the backbones involved here - SAIX/Sat3 is managed differently to Seacom and whatever that new backbone CW has is on, and they'll have different performance characteristics and different priorities.

What tests can I run

Telkom is also fakked now, 1mb/s download Speedtest.

Where is Ranger when you actually need him

17/20 Mb/s atm. Couple people streaming in the house.
