This makes sense, price-wise. I could not understand why there was only a difference of 200 bucks between packages.

Anybody in JHB getting better speeds, if so, what DNS u using?

My line runs at 4mb.

This is why Copacetic is annoyed.
He should be getting 10mb/8mb speed but his data portion will remain low.

I agree with you Electric, Copacetic should be getting a better download rate than what he's getting now.
I too have a 4MB line with a 2MB account and I get 4MB download speeds most of the time.
Even streaming in 720p works very well.

My only gripe is with Telkom Infrastructure, they busy working on the exchange and my router keeps dropping sync every few hours. 10210 says I have to just wait it out.

It's been cleared up - I should not, as my ISP portion is indeed meant to be 4 meg.

They told me I should only get a max downoad rate of 256kB/s and a full 2.0MB on speedtest since my line is faster than my account. So I should be shaped down to 2MB right?
Yet speedtests come back at 3.47MB and downloads run at +400kB/s.

Electric can you share if this is the case with you too?

This does not appear to apply to the 4 to 10 upgrades.

It seems their shaper is broken when it comes to 4MB line and 2MB account then.
But its working fine to shape a 10MB line to its 4MB account speed.

I guess me and Electric are the lucky few
 
Hi Guys,

I am really struggling with the torrents. It is completely dead.. 4 Mbps uncapped and it is 10kb/s speed.. :( Immensely frustrated.. Please help...
 
I always do torrents at night between 12 and 6 AM.

Runs fine then. But even yesterday during the day I was getting 200 Kb/s.

So not sure what's wrong.

Even in the night it was dead... now, I guess have come to the stage of reduce my relying on torrents for downloads..

10 Kb/s now..

Does the TI Tracker try predict what your usage will be for the rest of the month or how does it work? I have used 24GB however my bar is half-way.

Does it estimate that my usage expectancy over 31 days will be 95GB therefore puts me at the middle of the bar?

No, it just measures how you currently rank compared to other users, as far as I understand. It doesn't predict anything
