I'm not assuming anything,I was just suggesting it.Sorry if you had mentioned it but I did not read the entire thread.

Whats your current monthly usage?Less than 15gb,if so then yes shaping/throttling is not the problem since I average around there per month and have no streaming issues.

I hope you guys get sorted,so far I've been quite happy with my telkom uncapped account.

In general I'm happy with the product but there are days when I wan't to scream.

I'm probably on about 30 or so GB for this month. I've never gone past green and have not come close to even approaching 100GB yet.
 
Wow Telkom Uncrapped is terrible, Youtube pffft? Doesn't exist at the moment. Been like this for a few days now, shocking.

@ponder, i have experienced the Youtube issue you speak off. Infact, it also sometimes for a 4min video only loads 30seconds (total time shows after hitting the play button) when selecting 1080p (when available).

My usage is high all the time as i am not shy and use the internet (not saying you guys aren't :P).

Over 300GB on 10MB and NNTP is sweet at the moment. Hoping to finally test streaming services from next month :).

+1 on Ranger being epic, he among the lurkers here have done a super job ;-).
 
LOL @ the Youtube vid. But I have moved from Mweb 4Mbps to Telkom 4Mbps (my line is 6Mbps) and so far really happy. Still in the green after about 200 GB this month...

And Youtube does not buffer...
 
Line is syncing but no Internet I'm in Cape Town claremont area, sick and tired of this crap!!!!!
 
I'm also at around 200Gb this month, still in the green on TITracker and yet, I'm getting no more than 200kbps according to my DD-WRT Bandwidth page. I'm pretty much going to rage if this continues.

was also cursing 'n cussing earlier... rebooted PC (first time since Friday) and reset my router and it seems a tad better.

BUT

There is definitely something wrong and it cannot be Telkom's ADSL network as complaints here are from all over the country.

WHAT IS HAPPENING, TI ???
 
Yip on 2mb uncapped and frustrated like hell the last couple days. Even plain browsing is cr@p
 
**** telkom and who ever the **** made them, and **** the stupid supervisor who tells me they have no staff on standby and **** telkom again
