Streaming live Supersport coverage worked on Fri but no longer works now. The non live video steaming however, still works

Hmm, will have to find someone in the office with Premium. I hardly watch anything these days (on TV or otherwise), not enough to justify R650pm.

Lol. I thought I would fire up a 5gb Telkom account I have laying dormant to test it on my side. Telkom has definitely screwed something up holy.

I have a 20Mbit VDSL line, local flies:

Yet I am getting 30kB/sec on international http downloads and my BBC iPlayer diag result is really hilarious :D

And this is on a capped account! I am very glad I never bought their uncapped, switching back to my trusty Openweb account now :D

Here is a tracert for anybody interested to see routing. I am in Cape Town.

Still room for improvement on speed test. 4 meg line. Upload ok'ish, but download too slow.

Test conducted on 02 July 2013 08:17:03 AM

Download Speed: 1645 kbps (205.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload Speed: 393 kbps (49.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

Latency: 38 ms

P2P still abit Iffy on my side, getting speeds of 5Kbps on my 2Meg Uncapped account (given that it is office hours) on a well seeded torrent.... Jus saying....

I've noticed something really weird with my line, and I was wondering if anyone noticed this.

The first time I use my internet in the morning, I get full speed for 15-20 minutes, then it begins to drop. Anyone else notice that?

And... it's f'ed again!! HTTP downloads were happily running at full speeds... dropped back down to 40KBps.

We just lost an IPC link in Gauteng, and the redundant links (which we ordered back in November) aren't in yet.

@ranger, please send this info to uncle RPM to put on the front page so users are aware. I fear alot of complaints even though it has been posted here won't get to everyone in time :(.

Thanks for letting us know. Just noticed speed drop aswell but atleast i know what is going on.
