Eish, I'd start watching what you download as you are close to the throttling limit bud

Couldnt care less. Last month I got throttled at about +-115GB. So yes, I expect to get throttled again at the same point. I managed another 35GB with the throttling so it doesnt really bother me. As long as my speed is reset back to full speed on the 1st, I am happy.

Is there anywhere to check actual data usage with figures not just a green progress bar between power user and normal user.
I'm interested in my current data usage.

Are you sure that you are on an uncapped account? Phone 10210 and confirm your ISP account details!

no with Mweb...sorry folks...maybe i shouldn't have posted it here, but at least it will give you guys an idea about mweb...

The 4MB unapped users are only being throttled at the 400GB mark. And even then the downloads still run at a decent speed.

ALL my downloads are torrents by the way.

I'll admit that 115gb is such a low figure to be throttling anybody. Why not upgrade to 2MB uncapped? I was on 2MB and never got throttled, I think the limit is in the 250gb region. Currently 1MB is R474 but you can get 2MB for R607 - 25% = +-R535. Speak with Shanezn he'll fill you in on how he got that right. For R60 you can double your line speed and get a higher limit b4 throttling kicks in.

Closer to 450gb b4 throttling rears its ugly head.
I'll doubt I'll ever get hit that figure, my fukt up exchange leaves me with a 4MB line running at 0.8MB at night :(

agreed. Will definately consider this as time goes by. But for now, I dont rely on streaming at ALL. I download stuff then watch it. So the slower speed doesnt really bother me. Basically it just means, that in the evenings when I get home, I have 3-4 hours of content to watch instead of 6-8 which I cant anyway, because of work the next day LOL.

To add: I think I could manage 170GB even with the throttling.

this "MWEB" gave me such a complex about "uncapped", its unbelievable....I'm actually TOO scared to try ANY isp's "uncapped"-lines....lol

why? if they crap, then simply cancel and move on. The benefit of greed of that everybody wants a cut, thus there are lots of ISPs to choose from.
