To add: I think I could manage 170GB even with the throttling.

If you just keep on going 24/7 you should be able to get over 200GB I reckon.

I'm currently sitting at about 44GB for the month so I suspect I will come in at under 100GB this month, don't see much to download and I still have stuff left over from last month I have not watched yet.

I'll admit that 115gb is such a low figure to be throttling anybody. Why not upgrade to 2MB uncapped? I was on 2MB and never got throttled, I think the limit is in the 250gb region. Currently 1MB is R474 but you can get 2MB for R607 - 25% = +-R535. Speak with Shanezn he'll fill you in on how he got that right. For R60 you can double your line speed and get a higher limit b4 throttling kicks in.

Hi, I am new to TI and love it.

What -25% are you talking about?

Looks like it's starting again.... getting very iffy numbers, and big variances btw speedtests. Oh well.

You will be able to do more if you *don't* go full-speed 24x7 ... as long as you have had a new pppoe session since the first Sunday this month.

Detail will be announced soon. Most tools still need updates to show the details.

Crawling again for me since 3PM.

Have had communication from TelkomZA and we have eliminated line (healthy) and exchange (perfect, no congestion).

Looks like it is the account itself and he is investigating.

Now that's a cliff-hanger... :)

Yeah telkom allows many pppoe connections from the same line.......

I got 5 pc's all dialing their own pppoe connection with the same account each getting their own ip address too. Works wonders....

:wtf: I'm downloading at 850KB/s on my 4MB line but can't stream 128kbps CBR, MP3 Internet Radio

How to setup  ;)

How to setup  ;)

put the router in bridge mode and create a internet connection from your pc...... Works well cause no port forwarding needed then....

I got my router in Half-bridge mode. works well too. Got the details in the router and you arfe able to connect from your pc

Ok, I actually thought different so this is the typical dial up setup. My routers are always in half bridge mode but since I installed this router they all direct connect and I never set up pppoe on them.

What are the different advantages apart from separate IP's?

PROS: each guy uses his own cap or uncapped usage
Cons: your adsl speed gets effected ( far as i know )

That's weird, radio streaming is working fine here on a PC that's busy copying 9GB from a local server (via wi-fi) with torrents running at 210kB/s to the media server.

Have you tried playing with the download speed limits?
