I have a feeling this is due to all those unhappy Mweb clients moving over to TI. Lol.
How do you use nzbs?

Consider how torrents work, you need a client (uTorrent, Bittorent etc) and then once you have the client you go to your favourite torrent site and download the torrent. The torrent client then reads the torrent and downloads your movie etc.

Similar applies to nzbs, you need a client (I prefer SABNZB), once your client is installed and configured with your ISP news server, you then go to your favourite nzb site and download the nzb. The client opens the nzb and downloads your movie etc.

Firstly you need to download and install SABNZB, then go to config, server and enter news.saix.net and port 119. The rest you can leave on default.

You can try http://www.newshost.co.za/ its a free news host :)

cool will give it a try now? Is this a paid service? I see it requires a login.

So what can't you currently get from nzb?
Are you only using it for series?
I haven't needed a torrent for ages.

Well I mostly use it for my series and movies but there's just about everything on there, from xbox/pc games to applications etc.

I like using nzbsa.co.za though its always up to date with series and movies.

When you click on that link do you not get this site in the pic? It doesn't ask me for a login...

Once you get the SABNZB client installed and configured PM me and you can test it www.nzbsa.co.za using my account

Again, I have been saying this for the last few days: not everyone is getting decent download speeds on NZBs as well.

I want your elusive internet, because my TI is not the same as your TI :(

Actually I'm very unhappy with Telkom, they are giving me crap internet, seems since start of the month, everything everyone was talking about this wonderful account has dissappeared, and then they also don't bill me correctly. I have been talking since Wednesday last week regarding my new TI 2mb uncapped account on 10210, a dispute has been logged. Just phoned them at 13:30, the dispute is still 'open'. Getting incorrectly charged for the bundle, at the price I have been given when I joined 1st November, and that is even before the 25% discount.

Just makes me wonder why I was the idiot that actually thought all these things talked about on this forum were true. Telkom is Telkom after all :(

PM TelkomZa.
10210 is a waste sometimes. I also had a billing issue last month of which 10210 call center was of absolutely no help.
I then PM'd TelkomZa and within a day everything was sorted out.

At the moment I think we are all feeling the pinch of slow speeds, but this could be related to upgrading the network for our benefit. I'd say just wait it out a bit until the network freeze.

Log in to your router and go to the status page.
Or post your router model number here for help.

But he said his uncapped was upgraded to 10MB but his line is still 4MB. Router shows line speed ie. 4MB

Aktor wants to know how did he see what uncapped account he has

Awesome! and hows the download speeds?

PS: Gboss is so formal, you can just call me Boss :p LOL

Lol. Ok Boss.
Well let's just say I could get used to seeing speeds like this all day... rocking at 97KB/s at the moment.
I'm on a 1mb line so anything over 90KB/s is flying for me. Lol

I'm glad to have helped.
That 97kB/s will soon double and you should be hitting 200kB/s :)

Indeed :) I know what speed my router syncs at, it's the uncapped speed I'm not sure of.
