Telkom Internet Uncapped User Feedback.

Got ampt.
Teamviewed into my desktop @ home.
Checked router stats.
Sync 4096kbps arrrrrggggghhhh :mad:

If your line is 4MB but your uncapped is 2MB, where does that leave you in the free upgrade scheme :confused:

10210 is a waste sometimes. I also had a billing issue last month of which 10210 call center was of absolutely no help.
I then PM'd TelkomZa and within a day everything was sorted out.

At the moment I think we are all feeling the pinch of slow speeds, but this could be related to upgrading the network for our benefit. I'd say just wait it out a bit until the network freeze.

I have PMd them Thursday already, still waiting for feedback :(, Yeah I hope your correct that it will improve!

One person at 10210 said you should tell them no you dont want the upgrade, but your billing will be updated. Asked if they will actually contact me if I want upgrade or stay on same account, they were like um, ah, um, ah. Telkom FTW

Hang in there I'm sure the root cause will be found.

But as a general assumption, if you find your speed and latency go to crap weekdays between 5pm and 11pm but find its fine from 12am till 7am the next morning, then you can pretty much bet your last rand that there's congestion at play.
And for that there's no cure till Telkom upgrades the infrastructure.

I'm definitly gonna call them tonight. I'm not gonna pay for 10MB when I can barely get 2MB after hours because my exchange is congested.

My other ISP accounts were running fine last month, full speed, low pings etc. Changed to TI to save money.
They 'upgrade' us, but the infrastructure is already broken lol.
 
Once you get the SABNZB client installed and configured PM me and you can test it www.nzbsa.co.za using my account

Hey GBoss, you never got any issues doing this? i got banned from certain content the last time i done this on friend of mines SABNZB, i had to PM Angel and tell him/her it was a big misunderstanding... LOL....

How did you get caught out?
 
Damn thats strange, I just pulled Grimm S03E03 from nzbsa.co.za at 350kB/s.

As a test can you pull the same nzb its the HDTV one and not the 720p nzb on the indexer page 1

Currently only able to download at 14 KB/s and it drops continuously. :(
 
You can't even discuss things of an adult nature on nzbsa without getting a warning.

Geez they strict hey.
Luckily I dont chat on their site, I just pull the nzb files

PS: @BashX - I retract that invitation to use my nzbsa account. Sorry bra :(

How did you get caught out?

I have no idea hey, i just got a Message in my outbox saying that i used my account inappropriately, and to rectify i should PM Angel, one of the Admins... Which i did, and it was sorted.


Then, some time ago, i posted something on the forum mentioning another Provider (Newztown) and got the BAN Hammer again! saying that i should read the rules etc. Saying something about, not being allowed to mention other NEWS Providers on this site ... LOL, that was funny, i had to apologize again and get my account sorted, i'd really be careful what you say about NZBSA anywhere, its like Fight Club, remember the 1st rule of fight club...
