Is TelkomZA still active? I sent a PM earlier but have had no response yet.

Will wait till I get home from work, if he hasn't responded then I'll just call their call centre.

Ok just got a response, seems TelkomZA only deals with line related issues and Telkom account related issues. Does anyone know if there is a Telkom Internet ISP representitve on here?

Network seems a bit slow today. Started downloading Battlefield from Origin last night at 9PM, and it's still going. 160KB/sec max on a 4 mbps ADSL line. Should be done in 19 hours. Sad actually.

This may sound dodgy but get the nzb rather at full speed and just do the minor updates online.

On my 2mb line, after doing 96gb so far, I've received orange status.

The data consumption on your uncapped account has reached a stage whereby it is having a negative impact on the general performance of our network. In terms of the Telkom Internet Acceptable Use Policy, your account will be managed in a manner that allows us to optimise network efficiency for all users

Will I still be able to play multiplayer games in this 'managed' state?

Please post your SAIX Userstats and TITracker screenshots.

I don't believe they will limit priority applications however downloading and peer to peer etc may been more severely limited.

Streaming and gaming should still be fine. What happens if you stream 720p YouTube or attempt gaming etc? Feedback would most certainly be interesting.

Anyone else getting terrible performance today? My ping in BF4 (yes, int servers - usually around 200 - 300) was 850+ms :'(
And video streaming was not happening.

Yea, my Dota 2 ping was ~400ms to SA server, Gaming was perfect on the weekend though.

Was Playing BF3 on Xbox all weekend and today. Only today had a few intermittent issues due to bad ping

Wonder why? 1meg lines normally do better than that, so that is very low for a 2Meg line.
