Was able to play GW2 just fine tonight for the first time this week, so hopefully they are slowly sorting things out.
 
Seems that the pinging problems has been resolved and back to normal

It's still very early and weekend. I would give it some time before making judgement.
 
Thank you Telkom for solving this problem, but please keep it like this, and not just for the weekend. :)
The latency and speed seems fine now, hopefully it stays this way. Anyway thanx for the Telkom technicians that worked hard solving this problem! :)

WTF! On the line with Telkom now and they tell me the reason my internet is so slow is because I've exceeded my soft cap limit and have been throttled. When asked what this monthly limit is she told me 25Gb!? On a 4Mb Uncapped line?? Seriously??

No way you should be throttled at 25GB on 4Mbps Uncapped. Check your account type on TI Tracker - https://secure.telkomsa.net/titracker//index.jsp

Well at least I had a complete internet experience until 10:30 AM today... Latency through the roof once again though.

Still semi OK here in PE - what's your location because TI were having problems in Gauteng.

I'm in Gauteng. This connection is useless to me at the moment because I primarily use it for streaming.
 
So besides the high pings, have anyone also found their torrents virtually stopped?
 
Yep, international for me in the PE area is still borked. I had to use the Google DNS servers to get around some sites that were timing out. Downloading from Origin on a 4MB line...

And it never goes higher than 50KB/s. At least Steam was okay downloading from a local server.
