In my case it's month to month, usually 30 days but I pay by EFT, so... I can pretty much cancel when I want. But to do that, I need my dad on the phone, because it's in his name.

I had the same thing last night. I think Telkom are shaping torrents off, because I turned on a VPN and my line speed went through the roof. i.e. from 1k/s to 390k/s

Well, 06:42...Green Point,Cape Town....and my Telkom account is performing ....can actually stream via TuneIn...Ping= 19ms...let's hope it holds!

Please can you help us understand as to why TI performance drops to unusable every evening? There are countless examples posted in this thread every week.

What is TI doing about it and when will the solution be implemented?

+1. Called the call centre. lady said there is a general problem. The technician s are working on it. But can't say when it will be sorted. Noting else can be done

Are certain protocols being shaped? I went to bed at 22:30 and before that I was browsing the net and SABNzb was downloading as normal.

I must say, I am enjoying my Afrihost account... Having to pay double for data (Telkom and Afrihost) this month to escape the claws of Telkom was worth it 100x
