What a stuff up

Yeah, it is a stuff up, it is a first for most, a learning curve for all, and unfortunately all are not equally competent.

i tried and left it the whole morning but still nothing. i must admit it is getting rather frustrating.

If everyone posts more info maybe we can figure out why some work and others don't. For example:

h/w version,
Wired or wireless connection,

I got the first update, and have been stuck in limbo for 24hrs waiting for the second. Is there no way of speeding this up? Problem is as well that I am not in a major center so am stuck with adsl, which probably won’t help if the download is massive... hurry up and wait I guess.

Got an A11 with no update popup. Did a factory erase so there is around 4Gb storage free for the update. Guess I need to wait?

Try to master reset the box. Connect directly to your router with cat 6 cable.

Do this about 3 times to see if gets a response from the Telkom server to update.

Hopefully this will sort YouTube for you

Do you have any conflicting IP addresses. I had some IP Cams on my network the moment I disconnected it pushed the update.

Do you have IP cam app on your list box to view cameras?

Your other option is to call Telkom and ask for assistance. Or take your box into a store and ask to update.

I did a factory reset the other day and youtube is working fine now. I still haven't seen the update for my A11 after the first one failed to start flashing.

What he suggested to do is just guessing that it might work. Their system will most likely have serial numbers of each box, and the updates will be pushed in batches, so if yours is in that queue, then you will get it
