Only app that picks up my drive is Archos. Even VLC Doesnt detect. Ive had to move my music to the internal storage for now to play it.

Listening to Deep Purple - Made in Japan - Smoke on the water, from a 64 Gig. NTFS, Samsung Memory Stick. VLC is what I am using to play the Album.

Insert it and it gets picked up, and I get a little coloured circle to the left of the Telkom LIT logo on my home screen.

Plugged in my 1 Terabyte Packard Bell external HDD, same, now listening to Disreali Gears - Sunshine of your love - Cream, also using VLC. Tho this time ES File Explorer popped up when I inserted it

Try a sign out and sign back in.

You not using a VPN?

Tried to sign out and back in, no luck. Tried again, rebooting the box between signing in and out, no luck.

Netflix opens fine, allows me to watch previews all the way through, but within a minute or less of a movie/episode starting I get a screen that says "We're having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select a different title". My account is current.

This may be relevant - the box is still connected via the AV port to RCA in on the TV. I cannot get the box to work with the original HDMI cable.

Showmax, YouTube etc work fine.

What does one do with an A11 that has been bricked due to update. Its not a resolution problem. The unit does not swith off via the remote or frount panel. What it the turn around time for telkom to replace. I take it they will repair or replace under warranty. Anyone sent there units back please give feedback. Thanks
Hi. I just returned mine. Max 21 business day turnaround time.

That's more than likely the issue.

Sorry if I missed it, but have you tried a different HDMI cable, and have you tried changing the screen resolution while connected via AV cable and then reconnecting via HDMI cable?

I've tried a different HDMI cable with no success. I've tried changing the resolution of the box while connected via AV cable - there are only 2 options (480 or 576cvbs), and neither make any difference when I reconnect via HDMI.

There are also settings of HDR to SDR and SDR to HDR, but I've no idea what those do.

I'm still rocking 3 x Roku 3. Still their best and most robust player to date.

The UI is getting a touch sluggish for me. Not unexpected. The 3's came out close to 5 years ago. Still a very good streaming box.

Pity. I think there were 2 guys with faulty HDMI ports a while back. Hopefully you don't have to go the 'return to Telkom and wait 3 weeks' route.
