Ok i will be that guy. Those with connection issues, did you try switching it off and on?

That works for me when I experience wifi problems. Sometimes off at the wall is necessary.

I often have connection issue, normally a reboot sorts it out.

How are the fire TV boxes and using apps such as cyberflix, Netflix, showmax etc

Tried the rebooting of both the router and box, no success. I connected it via LAN and it worked. Disconnected LAN and it's now connecting to the WiFi again. Might work for others having the issue.
 
I used Google voice and told it to shutdown. It did, then got stuck in a repeating on and off sequence. Perhaps something to do with the 2.5 hdd connected to it? Never seen it happen when using the power button.
 
Hi Guys, I have problem with the Netflix App. I get an error "tvq-pm-100 (5.2.5)" when I want to start watching a movie. Netflix logs me in fine & I can browse all content, but as soon as I click play, it buffers then gives the error. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app. I have tried other versions, I cleared the app cache, nothing works. But it has only been doing this for the last month or so.
Any suggestions??

Android v8.0.0
Netflix v6.2.2 build 2753
 
Baconfeet emby serve works so well for anything 1080p or lower on the lit box. Really enjoying it better than any iptv service.

Nah. Like a plex server but Emby instead. Basically everything plex does but just named emby. $10 per month gives you access to their 755TB emby server with tons of content and all served via Cloudflare local servers. :)
 
Found a Telkom store with stock. R1100. Looks like new version. SDTVB1C0303. Supports voice search. But sales oke says you have to sideload Netflix? @Dolby does this sound like a confused sales guy? New models comes with Netflix yes?

Yeah already comes loaded on. Remote has a dedicated Netflix button lol.

Yup - confused guy ... C03 will have Android 8.0 / Netflix from the box :)
