Thanks for linking it but I think I will rather stick with the Telkom box, I fear the box may take too long to get here.

Yeah , You need a 10 Meg line and pay R799 a month to get that LIT box as a freebie, They should give me , a 4 meg line sub the android box for R40 extra a month on my account , happy days

I just got my latest invoice and this is what they offer for someone who is on a 4meg line uncapped:

When I got my box two weeks ago I asked if I can upgrade from my 4mb capped adsl to uncapped and get the Litbox for free and they said no- only free on 10mb line uncapped and higher. So I took it at R45 per month but proceeded to upgrade to uncapped anyways. And now the 4mb uncapped line qualifies for free Lit? Oi.

No it doesn't ! The 4MB existing customers have to upgrade to the 10 MB line @ R799 per month. Seems like they are giving you the box at R45 per month extra and you having to upgrade to 10MB line which will now cost you R799 monthly

The word "upgrade" is so open to interpretation unfortunately, so not really sure who the deal applies to and what you can "upgrade" to

You guys have 4k tv's? Is the 4k playback smooth on the Litbox?
And also are they able to play 4k files off a usb or SD card. If it can I'm ready to purchase.
My stupid TV can only display 4k through HDMI but can't play a 4k video through the built-in video player, it also can't play 4k YouTube, only fullhd
What TV do you have?
