Use the cast function of the box similar to using a Chromecast to view Dstv Now at a reduced resolution and a reduced data rate per hour from the Dstv Now app from your preferred hand held device. Tested this out on a Chromecast and could see the difference - tested it out of interest to see if the Chromecast can do this after " following a link/getting permission "

FEEDBACK on DSTV NOW

Hi All,

To control the download speed and bandwidth of DSTV NOW app you must drop the Video resolution of the TELKOM TVB-100 box in the VIDEO settings, Mine was at 4K ( Used 1.5Gb/hour) then I used 480 as a test and used 450Mb per hour.

The downside is that ALL the TV BOX APPs now also run at 480 so U end up having to change the video setting all the time instead of just the DSTV NOW app.

Sorted for now.

There are 4 :

A6 - Box has no Bluetooth or WiFI 'AC' - Remote control is AirMouse with the dongle
A7 - Box has Bluetooth and WiFi 'AC' - Remote control is AirMouse with the dongle
A11 and A12 are identical - Box has Bluetooth and WiFI 'AC' - Remote control is IR (no AirMouse, but there is a mouse). THese units also have LIT branding at the top of the box.

Basically A7, A11 and A12 are all the same box / hardware

I bought that Raztech airmouse and keyboard. the A11s remote is ****

Yea I see lots of people complaining.

I actually don't even touch the remote and use my TV remote - so the remotes have never bothered me, although I can see how it can. When I take these things home to play with, remote is often in the box ...

Anyone notice that The LG smart TV remote controls the box to some extent also.

Anybody got any update on remotely accessing and controlling the box? (i want to kick of some downloads)

I used to use teamviewer for my pc - but i notice you cannot take control of the box, you can only see whats displayed?

Hey guys. Ill be getting a lit box when i sign up for my adsl package...

Do they deliver the box? And which model? I see there are with and without blue tweth models
