Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

On the latest version of Netflix I can’t even scroll down. Yes using the stock standard android Netflix

Not sure about Plex but I might be able to help with YouTube.

Can you select the resolution in the YouTube app?

Using that one too. But cannot pause on it(well actually anyone of them). I have to go back out of the stream for it to pause. Was just wondering if there was a version you could pause (like you are suppose to do)
 
Enjoyed a full weekend of Plex streaming. Watching at my place from my server at my parents place :p
DSTV Now still having issues that require a logoff -> log on.
Casting for Youtube works fine.
Haven't found a decent way to cast music to the box though :|

I'm able to pause. Not sure why you can't.

Nope, can only choose up to 1080p. Plex transcodes my 4K movies to 1080p and I am unable to select 4K under quality as well. Using a Samsung UA65KU7350. Not sure if I have the A06 or A07, but from what I have seen in this thread, it shouldn't matter.
 
So a lot of boxes besides the Lit-home boxes have been mentioned on thi forum. Question is, will I still grt the unmetered (showmax, youtube etc) if I usr any other box than the one from Telkom?

Lol, this Chinese company !
Those clips are coming from this year's Google IO and it's running on an Nvidia Shield TV.

But I have no doubt the LIT box will be updated, Google is kinda obliging certified Android TV manufacturer to regularly update their STB.
