And that is why I think it is worthwhile, to learn how to patch the netflix apk for oneself. It empowers you, to avoid those nasties. It will be a 5 maybe 10minute exercise to download ADB and the unpacker, figure out how to edit a file in a text editor, repack and update app on Android device using ADB.

In fact, you may find, in the future, its easier and quicker to sideload apps using ADB.

Hi, I am looking at getting a Android TV box.. Between the Telkom LIT and this,

We'll be using Netflix, DSTV now and maybe Showmax.

Which is better?

Get the Mi Box International version. After the Nvidia Shield the Mi Box is the next best Google certified Android TV box. I have both so am speaking from experience.

Does the mi box have ethernet. To me that is a deal killer. Too much interference for me for wifi in my house.

-r is for replace

Nope.. Mate of mine checked out Rosebank for me yesterday.. Only A06 in stock

Edit: Eastgate only has one A06 in stock - No A07 units

I heard a rumour that there is new stock due in the country in the next week or so.

But when it arrives, don't ask for A07. Ask for anything but A06. The new ones will probably be A12

Managed to find an A07 in riverside mall as I live in Nelspruit. They never had any last time I went there so they must've got some new stock!

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I can't find dstv now in the play store. Anyone know if they've removed it again?

Strange , mine came with the DSTV NOW app already installed, even though I don’t have a subscription. Standardization is a foreign concept to Telkom
