Given the choice i would also get the mibox.

Yeah Netflix seems to be the big dealbreaker... other than that, specs are essentially the same as the mibox.

That and the mibox is included in the Android Beta program, theres talk of an 8.0 beta

I'm wondering if that will also require extra certifications when they make the leap, hence Netflix won't work.

As soon as the OS hops to Android 7+, it's often the case and a reason my some manufacturers are rather staying on old OSs. I've used a few Android TV (7 and 8) with Netflix issues

hwat image/photo viewer are you guys using on the lit box?
Im looking for something that I can plug in a usb, click on a folder, then all the images in that folder get added to a slideshow
 
Hi. Have Kodi with Incursion on Telkom Lit box. Movie worked last night once. When I came back it wouldn't work, message is "Incursion No Streams available". Tried a few different movies same message. Any help please?

Netflix also not working.

Works well for almost all Android TV games. Works for some emulator games without setting up/tinkering but I'm sure after some googline and tinkering you should be able to play most emulator games with the XB360 controllers.
The controllers don't however work with most of the sideloaded non-Android TV games i'm afraid.

I have tinkered with emulators and now having a great time with my Lit Box TV game station. Got nes, sega genesis, and older arcade roms running smoothly.

Playing Golden Axe while GPM plays in the background is an unexpected delight.

u should be able to set it up with the anynet+ feature on the tv u will need an hdmi cable that is capable of this as well! so when u switch tv on and off it will also switch off box!!
anynet+ is available under tools on some tv's!

I resorted to a DIY job, bought some of the connectors as per the top left below. Hooked that up to the ends of the two pin prongs on the adapter and to some wire to a 3 pin plug.

Regarding Kodi and the Incursion addon - I suspect the issue is with the addon - I had some addons work and I find streams, later, no streams. With kodi its a moving target in terms of which addons work and which dont.

I was watching some anime episodes in MKV format on the lit box. I was getting a lot of pixellation and artifacts on the screen. It plays perfectly on my PC. Any idea what could be causing this? using Mx player

Use VLC. It’s MX Player
