Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

Does the official Netflix app for Android TV allow you to download?
 
Thanks for the link. Much better than the previous modded version (Android tablet) that I used of which the link was also shared here a while ago.

Anyone tried 4K Netflix on the Litbox yet?

Nope, not fortunate enough to have a 4K TV or monitor.
 
I started having trouble with my Lit box. About a year old now. It restarts in the middle of YouTube videos. Then when you start it up, default language is Chinese again and I need to go and change to English before I can use it. Should I return to Telkom or just get another? Anyone had the same issues?

*HDMI CEC (CEC Switch / One Key Play / One Key Power off / Auto Language
I think you need to go here to change the default language. There's something about it in this thread; somewhere...

This was my first guess. They probably brought the bad batch on the cheap.
 
I have two a06's. The only issue i have with it at the moment is the youtube crash issue. Not much else wrong with it that i have found apart from the odd reboot when i switch the TV on
 
What's interesting is, I have a Mi box now. It's running android 6. Looks almost exactly the same UI wise, including play store, as the Android 7 lit. So I have no idea what was going on with the A6 lits...
 
From the 1st post:
A07 has Bluetooth and 5.0Ghz Wi-Fi, the A06's dont

And then I think the A07's also have airmouse while A06 doesn't.
