Allow me to clear something up.

The embedded serial numbers of the LIT units are blacklisted by Netflix. No matter what Netflix app you use their servers will reject any connection attempt.

I have managed to get a mobile version of netflix installed on the tv. Its just impossible to navigate

Would one of the custom firmware available online not have a different Netflix serial. Think those firmware based on Xiaomi rom

But why?!

Because Telkom had a deal, with Netflix, which they probably did not terminate well. So we all left in the lurch, and Telkom, don't care one little bit.

You used a side-loaded mobile app.
Which is different to an Android TV app, which is baked into the OS. The Android TV app looks at the internal serial number of the device.
The fact that you cannot navigate the mobile app means that it doesn't solve the problem.

One of the first models or the later ones ? There are different A-models with different remotes. Which A model and is the remote Bluetooth and have voice search?

A07 No voice search, comes with a Bluetooth dongle.
We actually using a Rii i25 with it.

Confirmed, Netflix on my LITs are borked, even in UK. Oh well, got around 4 years out of them.

I already replaced one with Chromecast with Google TV, time to buy a 2nd one.
