I sleep easy, regardless :laugh:

It has been excorised by the Bishop of the see, been blessed and anointed with olive oil, by the priest, from the local parrish.

It never had Netflix when I got it, it gained Netflix, then lost it again - shrug.

Netflix works via Kodi add-on if needed.

Not choosy about the TV it gets connected to either. :)

I felt wonderful when giving up my telkom landline and moving to fibre - but I was in 7th heaven the day I dumped my 3 telskom $lit boxes after that blooming company torpedoed the last redeeming thing I thought they had. Never again anything from them. Even if they pay me for using their network I would rather go without.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I run a Shield TV Pro, in it's place these days. But for events like the Sunday School "outing" it still works well. If they pour cool drinks over it, step on it, or whatever, it is not a major loss. So it still has some value/use.
 
Anyone got Disney+ to work?

Mine works fine on all the lits I have, I just found after you install the app reboot the device.

Weird. I'll try tomorrow again and perhaps uninstall the VPN app to be sure it's not doing something in the background.

I was busy switching off etc and notice the VPN running and Disney is not on the bypass/exclude list.

Just to add between 6 and 7 today I was unable to play any video even on my smart TV kept saying "Something went wrong"
It just start workig again later on all devices.

My error was before even signing in. The app opens with something went wrong. We won't be able to change regions with a VPN it seems.
 
Is there no way to install the old telkom firmware that allowed netflix to work? or load another ROM etc, surely one of our super I.T guys can figure it out?
Will even pay him .

It's not software - it's the backend that is blocking the LIT.

So, regarding of what FW, the Netflix backend is always going to block you .

Ahh my bad..
I thought there might be a way to fool the backend to thinking its Not a lit box and another device that is supported oh well.
