Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

A box is more flexible - I'd go box over stick purely for ports.

I cable as much as I can, so the LAN is a big thing for me

Wi-Fi is more than good enough with my RAIN free to use router, with Xiaomi Mi 4K TV Streaming Stick. With the B618, I used a wired connection.

Preference I guess.

Generally my rule is if you can wire a device, do it. Every device that has the option to wire, I will.

I try keep WiFi to mobile devices if I can help it

Wife does not want a switch, in the lounge if she can about it. Getting 450Mbps on the stick on Wi-Fi, so no issues.

Wired is my preference as well, but if it works, and the Missus is happy, then fine.

Has anyone tried to get Aidans Android TV Rom onto the LIT which also uses the S905X
or does anyone have an extracted firmware from the Ematic AGT419?

Ive put This ROM on a basic cheap android box and it works now as a Android TV almost perfectly.

But ideally modifying the Ematic firmware would be best.

It's not software - it's the backend that is blocking the LIT.

So, regarding of what FW, the Netflix backend is always going to block you .
elaborate what you mean ..
backend doesnt mean what you think it does...

Netflix may have been provided a list of MAC addresses to block which is quite common.

MACs can be spoofed.
