Telkom Local "Limit"

Hi Peeps,

Please excuse my ignorance but just how much local do you get on a 3/5Gig Telkom account these days before they start charging you? Their site is just terrible and I spent 30min looking without any luck! It used to be 30Gigs before the 3->5Gig upgrade, is that the same? :wtf:

While we're on this topic, I remember reading somewhere this was "a promotion" and it would "end after usage patterns were established."

I have no idea where I read that. Does anyone know if it's true or when it will end?

uhh, wasn't it written in red on their tracker page? before they lowered the fine to R15 per gig. man i gotta get in the habbit of taking screenshots of everything. :)

i reckon they'll be stupid to end it. i mean honestly, thats the only reason i keep the account.

ohja, @ the OP, they finally updated the email report, now it states the local allowance the account has
 
from what you guys say, i first have to use up my international gigs before i can use my local ones right?

there is a misconception that you can use routesentry to split up local and international on a telkom account, this is impossible, its blended
 
well... i think i shouldn't eixplain exactly how sometimes you use the local without touching the blendied sesson, but i'm afraid resets may start happening more often
 
ok so you would have to use all 5gigs early to be able to get stuck into 30gigs local?

I lost a gig of international because of a stupid reset.:mad::mad: My fault though, not forced by Telkom
 
According to the website it is
3GB / 20GB
or
5GB / 30 GB

Is this correct?
