Telkom LTE useless when down

We have three Huawei LTE routers from Telkom. The one is uncapped. We use the uncapped at home and the others at self catering homes we manage.

We had Telkom install an antenna at home. For months we could not use this router. The guy who installed the router changed a few settings and eventually got it to work.

A few days later nothing. Again.

BTW: Telkom has refunded us about three months worth of data.

Nice. But I want to use the router and the uncapped data.

The problem was not resolved.

I eventually swapped the defective router with another Telkom router I have. It worked. At least it's not the sim.

A few days later it stopped.

I phone 081180 a few times. Eventually someone told me to reset the router and then change auto to manual. That worked. For a day or two.

Sometimes if I switch the router off I get it working again. I installed the latest firmware.

But now I am fed up. These solutions do not help. And phoning Telkom is such a waste.

I feel like stuffing the Telkom useless boss with the three routers I have at home. It will not solve the problem but it may give me a bit of satisfaction.

The two other deals are on month to month but the uncapped is on a 24 month.

There does not seem to be a way to resolve this problem. I hope you have ideas on how to fix this problem?
