Telkom mobile data bundles now last much longer

There is a progress, but the article needs follow up.

1. Validity of the existing contract data remain unchanged.

2. There are limits:
Daily Limit - 1024MB
Monthly Limit - 10240MB

3. I have the following data bundles on Smart Internet package, only two (marked with *) can be transfered:
Campain Free All Networks Data (100GB 365 days)
Recurring Telkom Mobile Night Surfer Data
Recurring Telkom Mobile Data (*)
Included Telkom Mobile Night Surfer Data
Included All Networks Data (*)
WiFi Data Unlimited Speed

In other words all Night Surfer Data bundles can not be transfered.
Campain Free All Networks Data (100GB 365 days) a/a.

The last one is critical as this bundle is being consumed before all other bundles, even on Telkom network. The matter was brought up to Telkom many times unsuccessfully: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/thr...00gb-all-networks-data-and-other-woes.966029/

From what I have seen special/bonus data cannot be moved (and don't have to be), night surfer probably counts as that for example.

Included All Networks Data (*) is a standard Smart Internet bundle.
No Night Surface bundles (standard or bonus) are transferable.
Recurring Telkom Mobile Data (*) is a monthly special bundle (not a part of Smart Internet package) and is transferable.
 
Waiting for the follow up article and a statement from Telkom.
 
I thought the 20GB was 6 months and the 50GB was 12 months

So now it is low package (6 months) , medium ( 2 months) large (6 months) and larger (12 months)?

These are standard Internet (all networks) bundles, also called Telkom More bundles (depends on your tariff plan). The smaller bundles would normally expire end of next calendar month, so if purchased on the beginning of the month it was giving us two months validity period. We need a clarity from Telkom on both.

On the other side there are FreeMe bundles which are also all networks bundles, but had a strict 30-days validity. I think the recent changes will apply to FreeMe bundles, but it is why we have EDITORS on the forum to ask these questions.

So it applies to standard Internet bundles. On the same page it says FreeMe bundles (500MB up) had been extended from 30 days to 60 days. Smaller FreeMe bundles are still 14 days, no changes.
