Telkom Mobile problem resolved - looks like a mistake on their side regarding banking details.

Why am I not surprised? They set the kittens loose on the slightest "debt" rightly or wrongly, most usually the latter these days

Nope... well, not yet. Debit order has always been R199 on my side. However they do keep calling and offering me other specials etc.

Telkom Mobile has handed us over to their debt collectors NuDebt, but we do not owe anything (the money goes off automatically through a debit order). In fact, Telkom Mobile recently contacted us to inform us that they will refund us for incorrectly billing us R299 instead of R199 for a few months.

Anyone else (Telkom Mobile 10GB subscribers) received the same threats?

so will TM not be getting any MyBB awards this year ...

We will invent a new category. They'll get something well deserved, that I am sure of.
I just had a chat with the TM help desk and as we were clicking away the chat went strangely quiet. So I waited as I am known as a man of patience and understanding. But comes a point you just know you've been left hanging, not disconnected, just hanging. So I grab the keyboard by the horns and log in again only to be politely told by another telkom mobile employee that the operator I was conversing with went off on Lunch Break and would email me on her return...nice
