Telkom Mobile VoLTE capable?

So I have an IPhone XS. Volte is enabled but there is no indication of it when making a call.

Also VoWifi is not showing up as an option. This is very odd

Maybe upgrade to a proper phone?

I'm not sure who I'd rather have spying on me, the US or China. Although with my gmail the US probably has me pretty covered so it's only fair to give the Chinese a bit of me too

So confirmed that VoWifi not active on iPhones yet.
Hope they update it.

As a side question. Does VoWifi work like cell c where you can use your phone overseas to make calls whilst on Wifi “without” incurring roaming charges. This is the main reason I need this feature.

VoLTE and VoWiFi working on my Galaxy Note8 after changing the CSC to XFA. If anyone is struggling with this let me know, your CSC must be XFA.

Note on VoWiFi. It is permanently on when on WiFi, even though Telkom signal is good. With Vodacom it seldomly used Wifi.

Pity no hack available on iPhones
 
I was recently in the United Kingdom and on "3" saw my phone constantly connected to this service. VoLTE or VoWiFi.

I have no idea how to go about activating this on my local Telkom Mobile Prepaid sim card.

Customer Care does not know what feature I am talking about. They directed me to the *180# menu so that I can buy a bundle.

Just saw your post and have just bought a Xiaomi. I used the following codes to activate these services (https://www.zdnet.de/88365493/xiaomi-smartphones-volte-und-vowifi-unter-miui-10-einschalten/)
  • VoLTE: *#*#86583#*#*
  • VoWiFi calls: *#*#869434#*#*
These settings seem to be deactivated by default. I have an MI9, helpfully this works for you too. I'm in Germany but my Telkom SIM does not seem to support vowifi... yet..

Vodacom and MTN(?) disable functionality that doesn't support their market model e.g. Dual SIM. Is this one of those?

I have both VoLTE and VoWiFi on my A70 on Telkom.

'Cell handover' or equivalent on VoWiFi isn't great- when I stray too far from an AP, the handover to the next AP results in the call dropping :(
